The last day of the Shukla Paksha is Purnima. On this date, the moon is at its brightest and brightest. It is believed that fasting on this day will bring the infinite grace of the moon and bring health, prosperity and peace. On the day of Purnima, Lord Shiva and Vishnu are specially worshipped.
Scientifically speaking, on the day of Purnima, the effect of gravity on the earth is greater, and it is said that bathing in the Koshi River and observing Purnima fast on this day and remembering the name of God will purify the soul.
